I am planning to buy an X-box 360. Is there any difference in the performance of the Arcade & the pro-version?
Does the arcade version come with the wireless controller?
Also I don’t have an HDTV, so I am planning to buy a VGA cable to connect it to my PC monitor. Are the graphics on a Standard Def TV really bad??
Then comes the problem of sound since the wireless headset does not come with the arcade version & I dont plan to use a TV.
What options do I have as regards sound??
There’s no difference in the performance of the two bundles, but the Arcade one doesn’t include a hard drive. (Has a memory unit instead). That’s a big deal to me but it might not be for you. I like downloading demos, video and saving music on mine.
I play on a standard def TV, and the graphics are fine. Only problem is that text can be hard to read in certain games (Dead Rising..) because the print is sometimes small. You could get composite cables that include a s-video cable. Not sure how big of a difference that makes instead of using the yellow video cable. Also, I have hooked mine up to my monitor, but I went through my video card so I don’t know much about the VGA cable. My sound worked fine (just used my computer speakers).
Oh yeah, and the arcade version comes with a wireless controller.
