What is the smallest linux distro that will still run dosbox?
I am planning on building my own arcade console based on old dos and nintendo games and am trying to decide which linux distribution would suit me best.
My number one priority is that it be able to run DOSBox, ScummVM, and FCEUX (or some other NES emulator). Secondly, I want to find the fastest booting, smallest distribution that will still be able to run the three programs mentioned.
I am not familiar with any linux distributions besides ubuntu, so if you have any suggestions on which distributions might give me the fastest boot time and still let me run the software I need, that would be great.
Puppy Linux, Feather Linux and DamnSmall Linux are all small linux distros but I haven’t used them before.
